Shipping Policy/Returns/Exchanges

We offer free shipping on all Strider bikes!  This shipping method is via UPS, and is available for all orders in the continental United States.  We ship within 1-2 days of your order, and your order should arrive within 1-5 days.  You will be notified by email of the tracking number for your package, and estimated date of delivery.  Orders on the west coast take about 1-2 days.  Orders on the east coast take about 5 days.   

Orders other than bikes will be assessed a flat shipping rate of $5.00.  Orders of reflective stickers alone will be mailed in a regular sized envelope with a stamp we provide, with no additional cost to the customer. 

Please ensure that you provide us with a safe mailing address for us to ship to. We are not responsible for packages that have been lost or stolen because the carrier left it in an unsafe place.  If necessary, provide us with special instructions, such as “leave on back deck”, or “do not leave on front porch”, and we will be sure to note that on your package.     

If you need a rush on your package, please contact us for an overnight or 3-day shipping quote. 

Should you be in the Portland, Oregon area and want to avoid shipping, we will gladly meet you someplace for a local pick-up or delivery.  

The Strider is packed securely in a color printed box with handle, measuring 7”w x 15”h x 29”l.  Please recycle the packaging material. 

 

Alaska and Hawaii

Orders to Alaska and Hawaii will be charged exact shipping rates at the time of the shipment, with no handling fee.  We regret that we cannot provide free shipping to the Last Frontier or the Aloha State.  Please contact us for a shipping quote.    

Shipping by USPS parcel post is the cheapest, but slowest, way to ship to AK and HI.  Orders to Alaska and Hawaii by parcel post cost about $20 and take anywhere from 7 days to three weeks for delivery. 

 

Returns and Exchanges

We want our customers to be completely satisfied with every purchase.  If you are not satisfied for any reason, please contact us, and we will remedy the situation.

If you would like to return the product, we will gladly take it back within 60 days for full credit, minus original shipping charges, if any. Unless we made a mistake with your order, you are responsible for return or exchange shipping charges.  If you qualified for free shipping and you return your order, we will deduct the actual shipping charges from your refund amount.  A refund will be issued in the form of payment in which it was received. 

Returned products must be free of any damage, unused, clean and in their original packaging.

If you wish to return a Strider bike because your 1 or 2 year old child is not “riding” the bicycle, please be patient with your child and give them many opportunities to use the bicycle.  Remember that riding is a learned skill and children take to this with a varying degree of time, from days to weeks to months.

All Strider products come with a two year warranty against manufacturing defects.  Although highly unlikely, manufacturing defects do sometimes occur.  Should your product have a defect, we will replace it free of charge.  Please contact us if you experience any problems or have questions regarding our products.    

 

Special Circumstances

If any special circumstances regarding the processing or shipping of your order arises, we will notify you by email or phone.  These circumstances could include shipping holidays, national holidays, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events.
